Story about that lighthouse. I saw a hint in ancestry that said Robert Pipo sold properties in New Point Comfort Beach. I never heard of that - so I googled to see where it was. I came across the picture of the lighthouse in Virginia. The amazing thing - when we lived in Bayville, NJ on a lagoon off Barnegat Bay - we bought a little lighthouse for our deck. We had it 16 years (and dumped it when we moved because it had deteriorated over time). We never knew that it actually was a replica of New Point Comfort lighthouse. AMAZING! Come to find out that there is also a New Point Comfort Beach in Monmouth County NJ. THAT is probably where Robert Pipo sold parcels of land - BUT HOW COOL that it answered a 16 year question that we didn't even know we had!
