So-  the walk gave me pics of a cloud or two -  there's NOTHING lately.    Then I had to abandon my walk because of pain pain pain in my knee -  weird.

Later in the day -  some birds arrived at the feeder -  so THAT's what you get today!

I walked.  Then I talked to Karen, nextdoor for WAY TOO LONG!  Everything hurt lol.

I saw nothing on my walk of any consequence.    Some birds -  a lovely cardinal -  but NOT A SINGLE PIC?    This just seems WRONG.

The day is young-ish.  Maybe I'll find something before midnight.  Fingers crossed... or I will REALLY have some math to do hahahahaha

After the kids all left, I ran out for a quick walk.  It was 16 degrees in the AM, so I chose to WAIT to walk.  It worked out fine.

Today was an earlybird walk -  and the snow was still on the ground, hence the footprint lol. PT for Ken and Kenny and Mandi coming to visit and HELP and Kristen, Jackson and Cole coming for dinner and games!!  So many things got done.  THE PEEEEEEEP was changed, furniture moved, things straightened and cleaned AND my Christmas gift hung! lol.  PHEW.

I haven't left the hosue yet.  It's 11:34AM and it's still in the twenties.  I'll go after lunch.  Maybe my hands won't be so frozen that I can't pull out my phone for a 1000 word photo or two.   At least this is posted for the day -  Photo soon. Maybe.

The HAMSTER MUSHROOM?

This little mush has been there through 2 snowfalls... I'm not really sure what it is.  I'm GUESSING mushroom, but it's just one more weird thing I see along my walk.

I JUST REALIZED my math is kaput!  If each picture is 1000 words... I'm not a 5000, I'm at 50,000  hahahahaha   Oh the whole thing is wrong lololol. (and being the crazy person that I am... I just went back and fixed them -  it started at 19000.  UGH lol)

So YESTERDAY -  Kathy, Chris, Leslie and I went to lunch.  What a wonderful time!  Just being together and talking, catching up, laughing, sharing adventures and NON-adventures... but no photos.   So here is an old photo that I like.  1000 words?  hahahaha

Couldn't walk a dawn... it was MMMMMMUCH TOOOOOO COLD.  So I took a later walk in the woods and still froze my noze.

The sun shining on these reeds/weeds in the water was amazing... but the camera failed to capture it.

A different pond -  a man with a dog asked if I was headed to see the ducks that I can't remember the name -  I say -  CLOWNS to myself to try and remember their names -  but RIGHT NOW, the word is gone.  It happens.  ARGH.  NOT Mergansers (although they are on a sign near the other pond) 
WHAT IS THE NAME OF THEM!?!?!?   We used to go to the Barnegat Inlet to see them in the winter.

After the last snow, this pathway was snowy and icy for DAYS on END!

AHA!  Farther along the walkway, I found the answer to the puzzle.  Tire tracks from a SMALL vehicle leading onto my walking path.  Apparently, THEY SHOVELED!  
Rules are rules -  when there are less than 3 inches, NO SHOVELING... so I guess the combination of plowing and warm temps left us with the photo above.
